Depending on the program Sponsor, some subcontractors’ trades are not eligible to enroll and are excluded from the Wrap coverage.
Those trades typically are:
However, they are still required to submit certain documents/information to the program’s Wrap Administrator. These items include:
COI & Additional Insured Endorsements
A copy of your company’s Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Additional Insured Endorsements (typically the CG 20 10 & CG 20 37 or equivalent is requested) with proper additional insureds listed as per the project’s Wrap Manual.
Lower Tier Subcontractors (if applicable)
Following suit of enrolled subcontractors, if your company plans to subcontract any portion of the work onsite, subcontractors must be added into the RMIS portal. Once added, any subcontractor will be able to complete the enrollment and obtain a policy number provided by the Wrap program, unless your subcontractor’s trade is also excluded.
How to Stay Compliant
As for Excluded Subcontractors, upon expiration of your previous policies, a renewal copy of your company’s COI and Additional Insured Endorsements (with proper additional insureds listed) will be needed.
