There are many ways to help prevent suicide and bring more awareness to this topic. in our Here are 4 tips for suicide awareness and prevention:

  1. Reduce The Stigma
Not every incident of suicide is caused by mental health issues. Other factors include relationship issues, health problems, addiction issues, financial issues and many more.

  2. Start The Conversation
It isn’t easy to talk about mental health struggles, but it is important when someone’s life is at risk.

  3. Notice Warning Signs
Although it might not be obvious, small and subtle signs such as anxiety, aggressiveness, and increased substance use are most common.

  4. Take The Right Action
If you notice a co-worker, employee, friend or family member is in danger of harming themselves, call emergency services at “911” immediately or “988” for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
